Coach Mac is "excited" to be in the league.

He hasn't reached "expert" level knowledge of this team.

There is still a lot of work to be put in.

This team needs to "embrace fatigue". Need to meet college level exsertion and be prepared to play back-to-backs during the season.

Stressing attention to detail on defense.

Relying on his upperclassmen to set the tone. Still looking for leadership to emerge.

Evan Boudreaux is at the heart of what they will do. He appreciates E.B's business like approach to his craft.

There are a lot of questions to be answered about the 6 recruits. No visibility who can contribute.

The schedule was left over from the Cormier era. He is coming around to what lies ahead. He can work with the D-Plan.

The only positive surprise was the guys. He says they are great listeners and want to please. He feels that will help in building a winning "work" culture.

Key to getting off to a great start is continuing to have good practices.
