They mention Haber as a guy who will get time, who we haven't talked about much. Clear that this team will have a lot of bodies to choose between early in the season.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)

Does anyone have any information on the secret scrimmages mentioned in the article?

I heard we beat Sacred Heart 84-60. But we gave up quite a few points in a loss to Hartford. In the win, Howard may have started and had 13 points, and Anderson also played well. Fuller had 13 rebounds coming off the bench. Wilkinson is not in shape so hard to get a true read. Erebor is very raw was another comment.

What seems clear from the scrimmages is that Brown has a fair number of offensive weapons. Not that we should be reading into small samples (and we'll all get a look Friday at a tough Cincy oppt), but I don't feel like either of the Hartford or Sacred Heart game appropriately capture Brown's defensive ability.

What is clear (and isn't particularly insightful) is that Brown's going to play awful D when it's turning the ball over in droves and going to play better D when the ball is going through the net and it can get its defense set. Again, not novel, but also explains some of the difference in those two results.

I'm optimistic that Lenahan may help the D, and I think Brown may be quicker, as a team, this year. Dougherty may have a greater impact that MRJ seems to think.

And Tripplet too, he's a good defender, Hobbie ahs not been, yet, that may determine how much PT he gets.
