Starting lineup same as against Cincinnati. Erebor dressed today, Charnov and Triplett are not. Josh Howard playing well early, 8 points already.

Brown looked pretty good out there tonight. Speith's line speaks for itself - he has taken ownership of the squad. Obi needs to bring a little more intensity.

We need Fuller or Wilkerson to figure it out down low. Howard was great, but asking him to man the middle every night is a tall order and not entirely fair. If we can get one of those two to step up I think we are going to be really good.

Word is that Speith scored 27 in each scrimmage. He reached that number tonight. He is playing great all-around basketball. Josh Howard is going to be excellent. It will be a lot of fun watching him mature and develop. Great b-ball IQ. He did an up and under move that was textbook.

It's nice to have a senior floor general like Tavon. He keeps pressure on the opposing defense, as does the offense in general. Lots of motion that lead to some easy baskets which has not been the case the last few years.

Fuller had 10 points and 7 rebounds in limited minutes. I agree with jst4245, we need Fuller or Wilkinson to allow Howard to move to 4 to provide more interior defense. Although Martin may prefer a smaller but more athletic group. It really doesn't matter who starts.

Brown will definitely score well most nights. How the D develops will determine the success of the team.

88 pts. despite lack of success from 3 (not bad shots, will get better). D and rebounding are still an issue. We will need more front line help against teams with good bigs.

I agree old Bear that we are way too small. During one stretch 3 players under 6'2 were on the court. They played hard, but that is impossible to sustain success and once on film, will get taken advantage of.

I heard such promising things about Triplet and his improvement over the summer. When is he supposed to be back? Hopefully once he is back and Haber is healthy, we can get a little more length and bulk into the line-up.
