Even if this season goes badly because of adapting to a new system or playing many freshman and sophomore minutes, as a fan I'd be ok with that. Any transition takes time and I think Engles ultimately has the potential to greatly improve our program. Switching pace can't be easy for the players though.

It is now or never for Petrasek to step up. When he was a freshman he ripped apart a very good St. John's team by going for 20+. since then he has tantalized us with his tremendous combination of size and skill but has not yet proven to be a consistent threat. As a senior it is time for him to bring his A game every night, avoid dumb fouls, call for the ball, drive instead of satisfying himself with 3s, and dominate this league.

Coby's injured, though he's presumably back soon; Petrasek is tantalizing erratic; and Meisner's offense seems to have at least temporarily disappeared. We need everyone on board soon, or we could suffer a loss at Quinnipac as embarassing as last year's game with Longwood, when Columbia (KP #104) lost to Longwood (KP #295) at home.
