In 2005 we finished 94th in the Kenpom rankings. Who can tell me who was the patriot league team ahead of us and guess where they were ranked.

It was HC. I am not sure of the exact ranking, but I will guess 49.

It was HC at 65 I wonder how close we were to getting two teams in that year.

I believe that 2-3 years later, both HC and Bucknell went 13-1 (or something like that) in PL play. HC won the championship, and Bucknell played golf. That was the year that I thought that 2 teams might make it.

Don't look now but George Mason just won their 4th straight with a good win over Northern Iowa.

Definitely a good win - on the road against a UNI team that was ranked #69 (Pomeroy) prior to the loss. This was by far their best win, as the other three were vs opponents ranked worse than #200.

I watched some of it and Mason really took it to them in the second half. Mason seems to play at a quicker pace than Paulson allowed at Bucknell, allowing quicker shots in the shot clock.

DPs Mason team follows up win over PSU with win ove Penn. That is 7 in a row. Should make it 9 with next two games vs sub 300 opponents.

JC Show is having some sort of surgery from what I can gather from twitter but that's the extent of what I found on it.

Speculation, but IIRC he had some foot problems when he was at Bucknell

Had serious case of plantar fasciitis. Also had a stress fracture in his foot at the end of the season. I think he had some surgical procedure while sitting out last year. Wouldn't be surprised if this latest surgery is related to the foot problems.

Show btw is leading Bing with 13.3 ppg. Also 4 rpg. Hitting 52% on twos, 36% on threes, and 83% on FTs. His productivity has fallen dramatically in recent weeks. Injury a likely cause.

It is kind of ironic that George Mason is #123 and Bucknell is #124 on kenpom.com.

Looks like Butler is going to beat Nova. Too bad for Jay, but was bound to happen. Should help our RPI a bit.

Also, Vandy is trouncing Auburn.

Vanderbilt is down by 4 at halftime at home against #6 Kentucky, game is on ESPN. If Vandy wins that'll help Bucknell's rankings.
