There might be matchups where it would work, but in the league there aren't many. Too many teams play with 3 guards (or at least a 3 who would be a perimeter player that one of those guys would have to guard). So even if you put another big in there, he's unlikely to be much use as a help defender, because he'll need to chase somebody around the perimeter.

I like Chet's idea if that is what it takes to get some more production from the fifth starting position. There can be no doubt that having Coby or McComber in the starting lineup along with Petrasek and Meisner would improve the offense. I suspect that the defense would improve significantly also because Meisner and Coby are both capable of playing outside.
