Howard seems to follow in a line of guys with good "genes" who end up at Brown after being inexplicably lightly recruited. Forte and Huffman spring to mind.

How does everybody miss Juwan Howard's son? It would be one thing if he was a total project. But the kid is averaging 12ppg as a freshman. He may not be a finished product, but he seems plenty ready to play division one basketball.

One thought, though, is that using him as an undersized 5 is the perfect spot for him. If he was a 3 at a major (or even at Brown), maybe he'd have more trouble matching up.

He played on a HS with other recruited players and was over looked or underutilized, depending on you view. He's only 17.
