Not pretty, defense was effective in second half, comfortable margin. Too many turnovers, there were more walking calls than I ever remember, hard to tell if they were all good calls. Blackmon was great and a lot of minutes contributed off the bench.

I missed the broadcast. Was it discussed why Hobbie didn't play?

Not that I can remember. Couldn't see him on the bench either, but I definitely could have missed him.

I don't think he was on the bench. I don't know why.

Made the trip over to the game. Nice win - Blackmon played well. Lot of non conference games to go for Obi to get it together - we will need him. In speaking with some (much younger) alums who also made the trip up they let said Hobbie was taking the LSAT today.

Anderson showed (future) all league flashes today. He has quickness and speed that is not normally recruited nor seen in the league. He has the mechanics to shoot a really good % from range. As soon as he learns how to plant his foot off a screen - stepping into a shot - he is going to be so good.

Im optimistic about the rest of the non conference schedule.

Four wins in a row is an achievement irrespective of the competition. CCSU was borderline incompetent in the 2nd half. But to win this game by double digits is actually impressive, and the defensive pressure against a young team worked well. Obi continues to struggle scoring but he did hit two threes and he continues to rebound. What's probably most impressive is that they've won without him scoring a lot. PC coming off a spirited win vs URI could be an opportunity.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)
