Time for my annual trip to the Palestra. I haven't had a chance to catch a game yet on the computer, so I have very little to go on. I have perused the posts on the prior games and I get a general sense. Can't wait to take in the sights, sounds and even the smells of the Cathedral of College Basketball. What should I look for in this game?

I can't imagine anyone here needs, but if you want 2 tickets I can meet you near Penn after 6. The 8 o clock start (doubleheader with women) is messing up my timing.

Yes, agreed Jeff - that would be a very bad sign. I'm not going to lie though, Navy game is still frustrating if you look at their performance since (worse ratings than Dartmouth).

Don't let your heart be troubled... Chuck Daly visited me last night and told me Penn wins by double digits and that Silpe and Sam Jones both have strong performances. Sorry if this ruins the game for you...

Nothing... Chuck likes me. We met when I was but a lad and he took an instant liking to me. So now periodically he visits me to give me some advance insight into Penn games.
Interesting tidbit: Did you know he got his start in coaching at Punxsutawney High School? BTW... Does anybody know the school's nickname? Quite appropriate...

By the way... Just saw that on FIOS, the Penn/Lafayette game will be televised on CSN Philly, which for me is channel 76/580. I would expect that it would be on other cable outlets...

C'mon. The women's game is on ILDN then the men's is audio only. So why did I pay for this crap again? There have been almost no Penn broadcasts this year. I have been watching and/or listening to the opponents broadcast. Why can we not get this right? This is difficult?
