Last five games -- 24 pts per game, 60% 3 pt shooting, 5 RPG, thunderous dunks, 1st or 2nd best defender especially in 1-3-1 zone defense although he did play better defense the past two yers. If only he could shoot free throws like prior years.
I thought that Cook had an outside opportunity as IL POY based on his athleticism and shooting abilities. With Caruso and Brase out, he needs to step up and he has to date.
Somehow, he seems to go a little under the radar screen vs. Cannady, Weisz and Caruso when he was playing. Has been a winner throughout his BB life but was not heavily recruited despite athletic abilities.

Isn't Festivus the official holiday of this board?

Got it wrong 19 PPG vs. 24PPG but pretty darn good.
Happy Holidays!

I get the impression Cook knows he must step up and is willing to take responsibility. It's fun to watch, especially since he is so talented. One obvious characteristic of this team and the staff is that they are very much in it together.

Festivus? After educating myself on Google I LIKE it! After my wife stores our new artificial tree, I'll "lose" the branches and put it on my calendar for next Dec 23.
Along with the Airing of Grievances.

Cook has been impressive this season, especially with Caruso out. He's always seemed like a guy looking to take something from the opponent for his team, playing with an edge. Now he seems to have a good feel for how to use his athleticism, plus his outside shooting is much better.

I've heard about a number of alternative Festivus pole designs recently. Somebody built one out of beer cans. Another person put a mirror ball on top. There are also some who say the pole would be better made out of titanium, rather than aluminum, due to titanium's superior tensile strength. I guess adamantium and unobtanium are also viable options. BTW, don't forget to make your end-of-year donations to The Human Fund ("money for humans").

But Trump says he is shutting down his "philanthropy." I only hope he has been able to pay all of his fines first.

Which deserving charity will get to keep the six foot tall $20,000 portrait of The Donald? Maybe Penn wants it?

According to Dan O'Keefe, who brought his family tradition to Seinfeld,
"The real symbol of the holiday was a clock that my dad put in a bag and nailed to the wall every year...I don't know why, I don't know what it means, he would never tell me. He would always say, 'That's not for you to know.'"[16]
Based on the late game collapses of the Tigers, Mitch needs to nail a clock to the wall.

The bare aluminum pole used by some as the icon of Festivus has also been replaced by a stack of beer cans.

Just because I have every line still burned into my brain from watching Seinfeld every day after school growing up, the Human Fund is actually "Money for People." Makes a great holiday gift.
I look forward to the feats of strength we'll be seeing in a few weeks when our teams matchup.
