Nominated for this year's McDonald game.
Although it's difficult get full stats, he's had at least three games in which he's had 15 or more rebounds thus far, getting 15, 17 and 16 in those games.

My hope is that Faulds is a true center who likes to play down low. If Faulds spends most of his time in the paint, it will allow Meisner to play his natural position of stretch 4.

ESPN rates him a four star recruit and a top five Michigan hs player. Does that make him the highest ranked incoming Ivy player for next year?

Whether or not he's the highest ranked incoming player, he's certainly our #1 and should be an impact player. Did you notice that we offered a promising player who just de-committed from Drake?

Faulds had 25 in his team's 72-51 W, but only shot 7/12 FTs.
Hanson had 33 in his team's 60-57 L, where he led a comeback after being down 17 with 6 minutes to go.

Faulds and Hanson are lighting it up! Do you know how Randall Brumant is doing at the Kent School? Any info on Tai Bibbs' recruitment? We were one of his earliest suitors before he committed to Drake. He decommitted from Drake two weeks ago.

He's been offered by us, UC Davis, Elon, and possibly Drexel. Let's hope he thinks long-term and academic and chooses us.
Re Faulds and Hanson--they are #41 and 90 on a list of the best players in the midwest.I don't remember when we last had two recruits who were having such dominant senior seasons. Looking ahead in a year or two, Engelhardt is going to have quite an impressive arsenal of options.

It will be interesting to see his development. In his first year, certainly, he won't replace Petrasek's 15 PPG. But he is more of a defensive force, and certainly a better rebounder, so even if he falls back to a first year average of 10-12 PPG, we should rise in the standings.
It's his sophomore year where, alongside Hanson but with Smith and Tape as juniors + Hunter, Adlesh, and Meisner as seniors, that we'll really be able to compete for an IL championship.

Some observers say that Gabrielle Steffani is the best shooter in the entire incoming Ivy League class. Randall Brumant also looks good on film. See link below. Hunter, Tape and Meisner have star potential and Smith and Hickman are already stars. If Columbia lands one more impact player in the incoming class, there is no doubt in my mind that the Lions will have an outstanding team next year. However, I'm focused on this weekend's games with Dartmouth and Harvard. No reason why we cannot win both games.

Congratulations to the Lions. This kid should step into LP's shoes right away, no easy task.
