While Luke was sensational and should be in the conversation for POY if he continues to play at this level, take a look at Mike Smith's stat line for last night. He led the team with 38 minutes, was 7 for 15 from the field and had 5 assists to only 2 turnovers. If he keeps this up, he also has to be in the conversation for ROY.

PS, I haven't overlooked by two blown free throws which could have cost us the game. Hopefully Mike will work on his free throws.

Right you are! The five top frosh to watch right now (alpha order) are: Aiken, Brodeur, Bruner, Oni, and Smith.

All five of the players you named are outstanding, but Mike Smith is the only one who doesn't have the "length" that is supposedly a requisite nowadays to becoming a basketball star. So for most basketball fans a 5'10" player like Mike Smith is special.

Mike can still be an outstanding PG on the D1 level and is already on his way. He plays like he has something to prove.
