They shot 58.8% from three and would "like to repeat that number" Wednesday. Talk about stating the obvious, if they shoot nearly 60% from three, we might struggle a bit.

Regarding the tight, two-day turn for the Lehigh game...on the postgame show with Doug Birdsong, Coach Davis noted that two days after being walloped by Butler in Indianapolis, we went to Nashville and beat Vanderbilt.
Of course, he wasn't assuring the same outcome, but simply emphasizing that the team is capable of performing well under such circumstances.

This game is big more for psychological reasons than anything else. LU is not going to catch us, and barring somewhat of a collapse on the Bison's part, neither is anybody else. But the fact remains that as dominant as we may be in any given year, we have trouble with LU. We do not want the losing streak to LU to go to 3 games.

No idea. He is listed as starting, but he was also listed as starting the previous two games which he missed.

Looks like we got some snow coming Wednesday night or Thursday morning, but that won't stop me from going to this game. Looks like it won't start until 11 or midnight in lewisburg so hopefully the team and fans can get back home before it gets too bad. Everybody that's going, travel safe!

I wouldn't think there will be much accumulation on the roads until after midnight there. At 11 PM, the temperature is still supposed to be about 38°, falling from 50° during the day. The roads should start out pretty warm.

I have always been a fan of Tim Kempton but this year he seems to be more of a crybaby than others. He's got a chance at being a pro player but he seems to be more of a complainer than in previous years. He's good, let him score is twenty plus and let Nana score his.Let the dice fall where they may. Nah-Nah might not bring it home but Kempton may not either. Who will be the stud Wednesday night? Nana sholud overcome and I hope thats the case. Big game wednesday regardless.

I think the play of Mackenzie will be the difference maker in this game. On a side note, I've never been impressed by Kempton. I thought the same last year, he's an overrated crybaby.

63, I agree. Kempton has game, but he is a whiner. That being said, I think that if had "the Orange and the Blue" on, he would have had better coaching which would have resulted in a more well-rounded, respectful person. Also, while you might disagree, if he was a Bison, IMO, we would LOVE him.
I think that Fallon is the difference maker tonight. If he can keep Kempton under 20 and score 10 or more, the Bison should be fine. I would like to see nothing more than Kempton pickup his second personal foul in the first 10 minutes.
Other than Sojka, I have been to more PL games at Stabler than any other stadium. Ironically, it is the one that I like the least. It is a big, brown, drab barn. I am not sure if it is the brown paint, poor lighting, or lack of attendance that makes it drab. Actually, it is probably all 3.
Just got back from the Super Bowl and my body really needs rest and healthy liquids. So, I will not be at tonight's game.
GO BISON!!!

Agree on the crybaby. Disagree on overrated. The coaches, who know him better than anyone, voted him the POY each of the past two seasons.

Don't get me wrong, Kempton is a good player. He just doesn't impress me much. I personally feel we have 3 bigs that are better than him & one hasn't even had his breakout game yet. I would go with Nana, Zach, or Nate over Kempton any day.

BisonFan4, I appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to Bison hoops players, but I have to respectfully disagree. At best, Nana is equal to Kempton. IMO, none of the other Bucknell bigs have the skills to hang with Kempton over an entire game. I do not have a man-crush on Kempton. I just feel that he has a lot of skills and works hard.

I like the optimism, but I suspect you might be in a minority of one. I know I would take Kempton over any of the Bison players, if I were to base it simply on what they do on the court.
In any event, let's hope for big games tonight from Zach and Nana.

Kempton is superior in all regards. Both in terms of his play and his ability to pout, stump his feet and throws tantrums like a 4 year old child.
