Apparently Thomas thinks he's in the NBA now.

I watch a lot of college hoops and Patriot League officials are horrendous. I'm not sure what game they are officiating from call-to-call.

And that was an awful half of college basketball.

Can we at least try the matchup for a few minutes, we just always have trouble guarding this team.

Lehigh makes us look totally disjointed. We have that proclivity anyway but it's magnified when we play them. I'm glad Thomas is showing leadership BTW despite the fact he's being called on his inability to initiate the dribble.
Someone though needs to step up and I think Thomas is the guy.

Well they at least shot the ball prertty well...and allowed many open shots. Nice run here in the early second half...Kempton cannot guard Nana. Also, I like aggressiveness, but sometime I wish Stephen would look to pass or pull it out on a fast break when he is one on three. Fortunately we were able to get some rebounds off of those plays.

Why is it Lehigh can't miss 3's when they play us?

Nana needs to be featured because Kempton can't defend him.

Partly because many are wide open. Seems most every other PL team plays Lehigh tougher than we do. Maddening. Still time to come back, though.

I do not like watching Nana shoot face up jumpers...seems like he just started taking those recently. I've never seen one go in.

Yep. And some questionable possessions at the end for us. So Brown rushes up the court and fires up a 3 down five with 24 seconds left, then down 7, takes a layup with 16 seconds left...Oh well...we just cannot beat Lehigh. Frustrating.
I really wish Avi would get more involved in the offense, get more aggressive. I think we need some points from him, especially on a night others like Thomas and Kimbal aren't shooting well.

Frustrating isn't the word for it. We haven't demonstrated a path to beat them despite the fact they lose a lot. This is disconcerting.

I'm actually encouraged by and proud of this effort. They didn't play their best game, but played incredibly hard on very short rest. 19 TO's Monday in a comfortable win, 8 TO's tonight in a loss. Go figure.

Seemed a lot of loose balls did not bounce our way. Nana was a monster on Kempton late. Zach and Stephen both played well, but Kimball did not have it. When has he thrown up two air balls in one game?
0-8. And Monday games are good for the league why?

I think the play of Mackenzie will be the difference maker in this game.
Unfortunately, this turns out to be profetic in the wrong way.

Nana's defense down the stretch was fantastic...to say he was blocking Kempton's shots would be an understatement. He was thoroughly stuffing them.
On the other side of the court, I thought there were several times when it appeared Nana was letting the "battle of the Patriot League's best centers" lead him astray from his game, prompting him to take shots he wouldn't normally take, as if maybe he felt like he wanted to prove something. (Longer jumpers, and shots against triple teams instead of kicking it out to the open guy.)

Raymond I'm not sure what is encouraging about this result to an inferior opponent. The Lehigh broadcasters and Reed said we are the best team in the PL and they beat us twice. This loss also hurts our ability to get a 13 seed and a better chance to win an NCAA tourney game. And it's a loss.
Bad. Not good. Bad.
