Looks like the game opened at Princeton -5, but has moved to Princeton -6 / -6 1/2.
How far our expectations have fallen from just a few weeks ago. But on the bright side, if we lose tonight we can still likely garner 4th place by sweeping our remaining games. Making the playoffs is in our hands!!

I wished that I had your optimism.
Looking at the conference stats, the numbers are rather bleak:
Points 62.4 (8th) Opponents Points 70.8 (5th)
Scoring Margin - 8.4 (7th)
FG% 40.8% (8th) Opponent FG% 43.1% (5th)
3 PT FG% 29.4% (8th) Opponent 3 PT FG% 35.2% (7th)
3 PT Made 6.4 (7th) Opponent 3 PT Made 7.6
FT% 65.3% (8th) Opponent FT% 80.0%
FT Made 12.4 Opponent FT Made 16.8
Total Rebounds 31.2 (8th) Opponent Total Rebounds 36.4 (7th)
Rebounding Margin - 5.2 (8th)
Off Rebounds 8.8 (6th) Opponent Off Rebounds 10.4
Def Rebounds 22.4 (7th) Opponent Def Rebounds 26.0
Off Rebound % 25.4% (7th) Opponent Off Rebound % 31.7%
Def Rebound % 68.3% (7th) Opponent Def Rebound % 74.6%
Assists 9.4 (8th) Opponent Assists 12.4
Steals 4.2 (7th) Opponent Steals 5.8
Turnovers 13.4 (5th) Opponent Turnovers 12.8
A/TO 0.7 (8th) Opponent A/TO 1.0
Blocks 4.2 (5th) Opponent Blocks 2.6
With the way things have gone in conference play, I am thinking the Quakers will have chances to win in both games against Cornell and the home game vs Dartmouth.
A far cry from the team many expected to be challenging for a spot in the post-season league tournament.

Love your optimism. Add to that, "And DT will admit that he is in over his head and appoint Barack Obama as his personal advisor".

They're going to come out to play today and will be covering, at least until free throws at the end.

Line ended up being back down at 5.5. I still think they cover and the moneyline bet is enticing too...I'd prefer not to think about how I'd react to getting blown out.

Question for mshimmy or any of our former band folks. When the Princeton band decides to play a song we always play, is it trolling or is it fun gamesmanship that you all play? Not surprisingly Penn played You Can Call Me Al much better. And now they're playing another one. Cute.
Princeton sucks. Always.

Very nice student turnout for this one.
Speaking of students, was 1998 the last time a Princeton student entered the Palestra to watch a non-playoff game?

Here I will put it a good work for the Princeton band (I know, shocking). In my day, President Hackney, of blessed memory, had banned the playing of 'Hang Jeff Davis' by the Penn band.
So the Princeton band played it. When we got to the juicy lyrics, everyone shouted and pointed right at the Penn administrators in attendance, and when the song concluded, we gave the Princeton band a standing ovation.

Guess no one cares but they're up 8-5 at the first timeout. He pulled AJ early for Max who had now finished in back to back possessions. He went back to the old starting lineup.

I know that Darnell has to be aggressive since Matt Howard decides not to be, but where is he going...
Sweet air balled ft from Max and a few blocks and turnovers later and now down 1.

What does Jackson bring to this team?! Can anyone come up with anything? And yet game after game he dominates minutes. At least Sam can shoot it over these monsters. How in the world do they have so many 6'8+ guys on the roster?

We have 10 points in 11 minutes. And almost no open looks.

Change after change from the coach. It's obvious that he has no answers. Down 9 and it looks even worse.

I didn't think it could get worse. I was wrong. They'll end up with more turnovers than points. I give up.

Staying in the zone that results in wide open 3 after wide open 3 doesn't seem to be too wise.

They are 8-13 from 3 with every one a wide open look. And we have to work for EVERYTHING.
Darnell's one on one game the only scoring.

It's tough because most of the guys who can score for you are subpar man on man defenders. And probably your best defender, Howard, has not been healthy at all over the past few days, and it clearly shows.
