Sam may not be able to play defense (not that Jackson is any better) but his shooting has this as a 12-point deficit instead of 20. Just another awful half in what is becoming a trend. For those interested, he gave Silpe two mins before yanking him. Got to get Jackson back in there to brick up 3s and get blocked!

I was also wondered why once again Betley was not getting much time. He did get more minutes later in the half and was able to add to the offensive production (if little on the defensive end).

I didn't think it could get worse. I was wrong. They'll end up with more turnovers than points. I give up.

Whorah. Go curl up with 03jr so the Quakers can go on a run to victory.

Wish I could but I'm at the Mecca for this one. It looks even worse in person, believe me. He better come up with something for the second half. There's no way they shoot as well but again, they are so wide open that it might not matter.

How about Max, AJ, Sam, Betley and Darnell all on the court at the same time?

It could flop of course, but desperate times call for desperate measures. And God knows what they do on defense.

I'm okay with that.

The fact that Penn shot 50% and has only 27 points should tell you what that half was like to watch.

Well, Princeton did start missing. And they've actually increased their lead. The talent gap is glaring. I think they have at least 6 blocks and maybe more. Not only are these guys better shooters but they're also more athletic and much taller. How did it get this bad? Don't answer that. He's not even here tonight.

Darnell Foreman penetrating, turning, and throwing the ball out directly into the hands of a Princeton defender pretty much sums up the current quality of decision-making and passing ability for our entire backcourt rotation.

For some silly reason, Princeton decides to play AJ straight up and he quickly takes advantage. Give their scouting team an 'F'.

Two guys run at Weisz, no one actually covers him, and he hits again. Great game plan coach. And another WIDE OPEN 3 from the top of the key now. How the hell could a man be worse?!?!

Having both Donahue and Foreman out there at the same time makes zero sense against this team (or most other ones, for that matter).

Kid just hit a half court shot for 5k with better shooting firm than 1/4 of our team. There were a few more rollouts but I'm too depressed.

Why be depressed? This game is going pretty much as expected, at least for me. If I had loftier expectations, I'd be depressed but the trends have been clear for some time.

I think I've got about one more home game left in me. It's just not fun.

Vince notes another example of our guard ineptitude: Brodeur gets doubled in the post, and absolutely no one moves to make himself available for a kick out pass. So he ends up throwing it away.

I hate when other teams surprise us like that.

Because I truly expected them to come out and play well and instead it is obvious that the OOC was a complete mirage and we are even worse off than we thought. I was counting on them to bring some excitement this winter while everything else is crashing and it's just the opposite. And even worse, were now left questioning whether this coach is the one to lead us back.

Yet another ridiculously dumb kick out pass straight into a defender's hands by Foreman.

How does Foreman make such a bad pass?
