Jarred Jones has played a hell of a game. Not sure how some of those shots went in, but they did.

Very disappointing game. Brown has to let Thomas touch the ball in the last 20 seconds.

Disappointing loss for sure. I didn't see the game, but if nothing else, 7-16 from the line is a killer in a one point loss.

Great game. Disappointing last possession.

Damn. Had the chance.
Hope the league seeing 0-10 on the short turnarounds sees how stupid this is.

I'm not ready to let this one go. Loyola shot lights out but Bucknell was again sloppy with the ball and couldn't make a free throw. I don't care if you're in the Jacksonville Christian Men's Wednesday Night Interfaith Hoops League, you won't win. Sadly, the latter doesn't practice, award scholarships or have coaches that should teach how to dribble and shoot.
This was an inferior opponent. A probably 5 or 6 seed. Unacceptable.

It is really quite amusing how quiet this board gets while everyone digests a tough loss.

On a brighter note, the women won handily to move to 12-2, 20-5. Still remain tied with Navy, who blew out Lehigh. However, Navy plays the other top 3 teams in their next four games - Army, @American, Bucknell, American.

You underestimate Loyola. They are a very talented team, with wins over Lehigh (twice), Boston, and now Bucknell. But they are also inconsistent, with losses to Lafayette, Army, and Colgate. They could flame out badly in the first round of the tournament or win the whole thing.

Yes, Loyola has two of the league's top eight players - although they often don't get enough help. Andre Walker can get an open shot any time he wants - although he is a streaky outside shooter. Capable of going 5-7 or 1-12 on threes. And Jones is ranked as one of the league's top five statistical players by Pomeroy.

Very true! After 36 hours of depression, I'm back.
I still think that Coach Davis needs to do a better job getting the Bison ready to play at the beginning of games. We have seen the Bison fall behind before. Unfortunately, Loyola held on to win at the end.
OK, I'm ready to move on. NEXT!

I was at the game with my youth team. Biggest take aways, already mentioned
- Bad travelling calls
- Bad foul shooting
Not mentioned
- The inability to stop Jones. The guy is extremely athletic, but he is only 6'6". Moore did the best job on him. He abused Zach when he was guarding him.
- Avi's Defense was phenomenal. No one else could guard Walker. McKenzie tried, but Walker was too quick. When the coach is asking two freshmen to take the two toughest defensive assignments it's nerve wracking for the present, but heartening for the future.
- Nana's inability to finish in the first half. He made a couple of jump hooks, and some dunks set up by others, but there was an obvious concerted effort to get the ball into him early and often, and despite getting their center into foul trouble, he had a lot of difficulty finishing in close. Seemed like an anomaly from the rest of the season.

Those are great observations. Based on what I've seen in PL play, Avi could be all-defensive team as a freshmen. Thoughts?
