11-2 start for Penn. I cannot believe how much better is the ball movement than earlier in the season. Every shot so far has been a good one.

16-9 at the second break. Yale hit a couple of tough shots, but Penn still is getting very good looks.

Will only be able to watch sporadically. But am DVRing the game so I can see the whole thing later.

Very impressive start.

You don't have cable still? Comcast 8.

But otherwise, 20-14, 3rd break

10Q: Game is televised on TCN (The Comcast Network) in the Philadelphia area. Who is your cable/satellite provider?

Hmm I have DIRECTV in Los Angeles. Any idea what channel Stu? Ivy League Digital video is not working for me for some reason.

As long as AJ stays out of foul trouble, we should be competitive in this one throughout.

Brodeur is passing out of the double teams with an idea now. Goodman is a blur.

This is a totally different team than the one I saw at Princeton to open the season. They are much more confident at both ends of the floor.

Offense has disappeared. Yale has really ratcheted up the defense.

They have gone very cold though--hanging onto a 4 point lead at 23-19

We will need Betley in the second half to provide some O--too bad he picked up that 2nd foul.

There is still the question of why SD continues to start JD.

A couple of things I noticed. Yale clearly respecting Betley and this is making it harder to double AJ so he is getting better looks. Seeing quite a bit of AJ and Max together (no surprise there.) and anyone notice the job Goodman does on the defensive boards when he is in there?

They have no idea now where or when the Yale doubles in the paint are coming from - Brodeur and Rothschild incredibly confused.

True, but on the other side, we are getting to the ball on defense much faster than we did earlier---no one on Yale is getting an open look.

Goodman with the wish-and-a-prayer drive in transition that Bruner casually rejects.

That looks like an adjustment they made after the 11-2 run. Right now, both teams are defending the paint well. It's all about who's hitting from outside
