One interesting development over the season has been the reduced role of Cornell's senior class. When the season started, it looked like more than half of the team's minutes were going to come from seniors: 30+ in the post from Onuorah and 80-90 from Hatter, Smith and Fallas at guard. That would have meant a fair amount of rebuilding next year.
But a funny thing happened. Onuorah played in the opener and hasn't made an appearance since. Smith never clicked with the new regime. He made one start, but fell out of the rotation. Neither is listed on the official roster at this point. Fallas was starting, but seems to have been shifted to a 15 minute role off the bench. Right now, only Hatter's minutes will need to be replaced, which should help smooth the transition into next year.
Anyway, on senior day I want to thank the seniors for their work. Maybe especially Braxston Bunce who has stayed with the program even though injuries kept him to 43 career minutes.
