I think we have to wait to see how Friday's games work out. If Harvard beats Princeton on Friday night, I'd have to think that Harvard would have more motivation to play hard on Saturday night.

Penn up to -12.5 is unsurprising. Money has been chasing momentum recently and the Last 10 games line would have been in the 14/15 range.
I would indeed expect a PK on Saturday. Really might expect Penn to be favored if either is.

Agreed. I was thinking Harvard would be -1 at most.
Interesting that Columbia is only -1 tonight...

we are back to -11 and around -800 on the money line FWIW. Almost a 90% win prob.
The Columbia line looks light to me as well, but not by much as home court is a big factor here.
Note Harvard vs Princeton is a 5pm EST start on ESPNU who must think this is a Ivy final preview. PU is -7 which feels right to me since this will be statement game for them and they should cover unless they muff a lot of FTs in the last minutes.

What does the board think... If Penn has a comfortable lead, does SD use more of his bench and rest his starters for Saturday's game?

All depends on how you define "comfortable lead".
Plus, it may depend on what happens in the Princeton-Harvard game whose outcome will have already been decided....if Princeton wins, it's not clear if Harvard will go full tilt on Saturday night.

Define "comfortable". What we've seen from Coach Donahue (and many other coaches across the country) is that they make sure either (1) the opposing coach has "conceded" by putting in his bench people (Donahue seems to subscribe to this) OR (2) there's virtually no way an unexpected series of three point shots can give the other team even a remote chance of winning. Since there is no margin of error on that score, I'd be hesitant to remove people.

I'd say yes, if the lead is comfortable, rest the starters.
The Saturday game will probably be the more important game.
And I don't think we've won a Saturday game all season.

Yep, that would be even better, if we could play the game on Sunday.

Just poured a nice big Stoli on the rocks. Getting settled in now to watch a 20-point Penn victory. (No... I didn't jinx them!)

And blowing bunnies in deep like they did in NYC last weekend. Brodeur with three misses in close already, Goodman with a blown layup off penetration.

Hamilton needs to work on that rebound. Not assume it's his. Should have had that.

Hamilton lets himself get outmuscled and tied up on a rebound when he had no business letting it happen.
