Bison sweep PL the PoY and CoY awards for men and women. I thought Madison Hovren would give Claire a run but the voting followed the men's pattern. Very surprised the Claire won unanimously.

One could legitimately argue that Navy and especially Boston vastly overachieved. Boston was picked to finish last and finished tied for fourth. Doesn't persuade me, but I could see a few people voting that way.

I think you could make a very good argument for either of those two coaches, whose teams finished a lot better than predicted. I actually was surprised Roussell won it. He's a great coach, but his team was a unanimous preseason pick for 1st. That often makes it tough to get COY votes.

Maybe the opposing coaches/sids want to get him out of the league, so they are enhancing his resume.
