VofN, going back about 10 years ago, HC's crowd use to rival Bucknell's. Now, I think that you are right. Nobody else in the PL has a following like the Bison. That being said, I would love to see more students at the game. I just don't understand why they do not completely pack the place for every game.

Starting with the 2005-06 season, Bucknell has outdrawn HC by a significant margin every year. Prior to that, HC had the edge for a few years. But in the late 90's, HC struggled to average 1000 per game. In 1999, they averaged about 870 (ticket sales, not fans in the seats).

Students didn't start showing up in the mid-2000s until after the Kansas upset. We already had the two seed locked up, but I remember the last game of the 04-05 regular season against Colgate Sojka seemed empty. Chris Niesz buzzer beater for the win on Senior Day--nice moment a lot of people missed out on.
If there are two more wins this season, Sojka will be packed all of next year.

Regarding Zach's inbound play where he threw it off the defender's back: I've seen that done plenty of times, but never from such a distance.

Yes, I've never seen it from that distance either. When throwing it off the back of a defender right in front of you, there is always the issue of getting both feet established inbounds before touching the ball. Zach neatly avoided that problem.

Really they gave Avi a technical for saying I got the ball?!?!?
Forgot to post this before. The clueless ref who called it was Tim Kelly, the worst type of ref. Kelly once delayed a game at Richmond while he had administrators threaten to eject a fan who accused him of having a bet on the game. No vulgarity, no threats from the fan - just that. Rabbit ears and an attitude. Kelly actually made it to the ACC for a couple of years before they figured out he didn't belong there and he was "fired". This year he mostly reffed the PL, Ivy, CAA, and AE. I think he's not happy about his comedown and thus refs with an attitude.
Of the three refs, I thought Tony Crisp was OK, but Kelly and especially the third ref were bad, particularly in the first half.
