Kempton, as great a Patriot League player as he is, showed why he is unlikely to make NBA.
I don't know if I would jump to this conclusion. Kempton has size and skills to be a Stretch 4 in the Association. Let's see what happens. Don't forget that it took Muscala some seasoning in Spain before he made it in the NBA.

He has the offensive skills. However is defense is very weak. Would have to improve dramatically to get anywhere close to an NBA roster. Muscala as a senior was much better in that all-important area.

Re. the Jones piece, I love that Griffin is in Kimbal's ear constantly about shooting when he feels it.

The most striking stats from the box score for me...
Lehigh 27 baskets, 8 assists
Bucknell 34 baskets, 23 assists
And...This one shocked me.
Fast break points-LEHIGH 0,BUCKNELL 0
I've never seen a game that didn't have a single fast break point.

PJM, good to see that you still follow this board.
I could not agree more. I ended up watching the game again on DVR, and it is so obvious that Lehigh played a series of one-on-five offensive possessions while Bucknell passed the ball very well.
By the time that the second half rolled around, Lehigh looked exhausted. (Thank you, Boston U.) Having 10 players rotate in and out really helped the Bison.
BTW, nice win for George Mason.

If it were anyone else, I'd feel bad for him. In his case, not at all. Another postseason failure and it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. His final act was not applauding for the Bison named to the all-tournament team.
Stay classy, Bucky.
