My hair is another shade grayer after another nail-biter at Sojka tonight. Women survive a hot shooting Loyola team 75-72. Semis at Sojka on Friday.

We'll play American in the first SF at 5:00. Looks like Army vs. Navy in the other semi.

Our game through three quarters was a stressful mess also. Back to Lewisburg for a third straight weekend..

Let's pack Sojka for the Friday woman's game. They deserve it. Would the students be up for this?

Unfortunately true. Other than athletes, there will be virtually no-one at campus at 5 PM on Friday. Many are already gone.

We'll have to rely on townies and maybe a few local HS teams for crowd support. Very unfortunate timing on the part of the PL. Even worse, the final is at 11:00 AM Sunday. With the change to daylight savings time it will feel like 10:00. All to get the game on "national" TV but at a time when no one will be watching basketball.

If you can possibly make it to Sojka tomorrow please do. It would be amazing to send two teams to the tournament. Has any PL school ever done that?

Two Patriot League schools have sent mens and womens teams to the dance in the same year. Holy Cross in 2001 and 2007; and Lehigh in 2010. Men and Women both won the PL tournament from Fordham in 1992 and Holy Cross in 11993, but the women's teams did not get NCAA bids in either of those years.

We would try to make it but the 5:00 tip is impossible...and now it is supposed to snow as well during the day. And 11:00 on Sunday? Really?? That is craziness.
