Princeton athletics notes that each school was given 247 tickets.

The twitter for Brown women's team noted that its seats are in section 204.

Yale athletics mentions that its tickets are on the West End of the Palestra.

Actually, that's just for the students. There were additional tickets for alums and others (although judging by the ivymadness site, at this point I'd say that all remaining tickets are up for grabs at this point.)

Princeton's tickets are in section 214. Judging from the IvyMadness site, it looks like they may be the only team that sold out their tickets.

I thought I had seen 247 somewhere. But, I thought that that was the alumni allotment. What about students? And how much do they have to pay?

Now, 247 x 4 is less than 1000 and the Palestra seats about 8000. Tell me again, Robin, no homer atmosphere ?

According to that Princeton site, the 247 seats are the student allotment. $20 tickets and $10 from that is refunded if you don't want to attend the Sunday game (and conversely $10 tickets are available for Saturday only).

There are other, much pricier "institutional" ticket allotments for each qualifying school but no quantities is mentioned.

Too late to undo this travesty. We can only hope that The Tigers win as they should and that Penn will be spared of this growing embarrassment. It is equally unfair to a fine Penn women's team to have to prove their merit again.

From what I've been able to piece together, most of the baseline and the lower end court seats are "institutional." The upper end court and some upper baseline seats are general admission.

Has anyone heard about the ground rules for this event? Will we be allowed to go in and out given it is a 10 hour program? Will food be allowed in or is it Chickies' and Pete's and a heart attack after the game?

According to the Penn Ticket Office, Security will give passes to those who wish to leave and return--they will not let you back in with a ticket stub. So make sure you get a pass before leaving the building.
