The site still lists Brandon Horvath and Najja Hunter. Does anyone know what is actually happening or (what happened) to either one?
Thanks

Spoke at length with Hunters coach a few weeks ago. Penn was literally in the gym at the time but looking at other kids abs had stopped recruiting him. He still had Cornell, Princeton interest but as of then he was actually leaning towards Amherst

The transfer list is already beginning to fill up with guys we were involved with to one degree or another.

Pennhoops, what do you mean by that? Students from prior recruiting years are popping up on transfer lists?

Well, that's interesting. Where would the uninitiated find these lists?
This past season notwithstanding, we've had pretty good luck with transfers in the past.

The Verbal Commits list doesn't have those sorts of goof ups.

Jeff Goodman's list, while missing on Caruso, is very informed and accurate, far better info on transfers than Verbal Commits.

Hello, this is Nathan LeClair, CEO of Verbal Commits. I maintain the transfer list, among other things.
What can we do to improve the list? Would love to hear your feedback.

Well, for one, let us know if Henry Caruso really has left Princeton to become a Penn quacker

I'm not sure what you're basing that on but right now the lists aren't even close in terms of comprehensiveness. The VC list is about four times as long as ESPN's.

Jeff Goodman has not posted the post season transfers for 2016-17 yet. He only lists the mid season transfers (those who announced during the season they would transfer)
VC actually references ESPN as a source for about 30% of their transfer list. ESPN usually puts out a full list after the FF.
Here is his list from last year:

Thirty percent seems pretty generous but their list was 811 names last year and I'm not going to do the math. You can work with ESPN, I'll take VC, and the beauty of capitalism will make us all winners.

Well if you look at last years lists, of the sources VC cites (they only list a source for 370 of the 811) for the transfer 114 out of 370 were from ESPN, which is 31%.
ESPN lists 703 transfers for last year, VC lists 811. The lists, for whatever reason, are only the same on about 80% of the names. Having followed the ESPN list the last couple years, I have found it to be very reliable and accurate. Can't speak for the VC list.

It's true we cite ESPN's list, but as mentioned above ESPN has not update its list since January 25th...I updated our five minutes ago and update it dozens of times every day. We typically have more names because ours is updated more frequently.
The transfers that are not sourced were either A) announced by the kid or B) we broke the news.
Besides daily updates, our list also has the ability to be sorted by height, weight, position, class and whether they are eligible immediately or not. ESPN's does not have this ability.
Going through last year's ESPN list, I can point out to you a number of incorrect/incomplete entries. There are guys with no new school beside their names on their list that are playing at another school right now.
I also know for a fact that their "full list" after the FF uses our list as reference except they don't cite anyone, which I can understand.
