Huge home win today, 9-8 over #17 Loyola in OT. Junior Will Sands, who ranks 2nd in the nation in assists, got the winning goal, and Goalie Christian Klipstein made 15 saves on 23 shots, a very good 65%, including a great stop late in regulation. It's worth watching at least the last six minutes of this game plus the OT's.

The Bison have been all over the place this year. Started the year with come-from-behind wins over Delaware and Bryant, but then lost to Fairfield (close) plus Colgate and Navy by wide margins. Then a disastrous home loss to Holy Cross by a goal - the first loss to HC in history. At that point, it appeared the season was shot.
However the team then traveled to Boston U to play undefeated #15 Boston U, who had just beaten Colgate by 11 goals on the road - the same Colgate team that beat the Bison handily. The result was the expected blowout, except that it was the Bison on top, with much credit going to GK Christian Klipstein, who saved 16 of 22 shots enroute to PL GK of the week. Team then traveled to Villanova and lost, followed by today's huge win.

In response to Bison137
Current Standings:
Army West Point 4-0
Boston 3-1
Loyola Maryland 3-1
Holy Cross 2-2
Lehigh 2-3
Bucknell 2-3
Navy 2-3
Colgate 1-3
Lafayette 1-4
Note that the only loss by each of the top two teams is to Bucknell. Bison still have to play nationally-ranked Army, Lafayette, and Lehigh. To make the tournament, they will likely have to win two of three - or possibly just Lehigh. At the moment, their tiebreaker situation is bad, having losses to three teams they might tie (Colgate, Navy, and Holy Cross).
