On Saturday, UConn announced that Associate Head Coach, Glen Miller is leaving the program. No specific reason for the change has been noted, although the writer at the Hartford Courant mentios that the former Penn and Brown coach wants to be a head coach again and has an interest in the vacant UMass job.
Time will tell if Miller ends up involved in some capacity in Amherst.

I wonder who he'll list as his Penn reference.

I'd give anything to be a fly on the wall when potential employers ask him about what happened at Penn. I'm dying to hear how he spins it.

Looks like he was the sacrificial lamb after the unacceptable 16-17 season in a not very strong league. Either that, or his personality started coming out again in a season of adversity. But it does appear to be a firing.

Per Jeff Goodman at ESPN, Glen Miller is back at work, assisting former UConn coach Jim Calhoun put together at team at Division III St. Joseph (CT) for 2018-2019.

Miller has tiny orange spheres oozing out of his pores. If he can't get a D1 job, he'll take a D3 one. If he couldn't have gotten a college job at all, he'd have coached high school. Or at the local JCC. Anything.

Sometimes you have to read the exchange before spitting. I was referring to the fact that he has basketballs coming through his pores and must work Division 3 if he must, but he can do nothing but coach. No one was comparing records (although Rollie is not loved at Nova)

Rollie may not be loved at Nova, but he can't possibly be as reviled as Miller is at Penn.
Although, speaking only for myself, the main emotion I feel toward Miller is pity, with a bit of anger as leavening. My true rage and revulsion is reserved for Steve Bilsky.

We can be angry with Bilsky, but "revulsion" might be a bit too strong. As far as I know, he did nothing illegal, and our student athletes were not being given free passes, bogus diplomas or kickbacks.
Did he severely damage the basketball program anyways? You betcha.

i agree with SM regarding Bilsky. You can survive one bad hire, the way he compounded the mistake...

Agreed again. Although I still don't think hiring him was a mistake. But when he had to go (and he did), Bilsky tried to cover up criticism by hiring a Penn hero, passed over the two experienced assistants who were far more responsible for the one good year with Miller recruits and then gave Allen the secret extension lasting through the time Bilsky would be retired. Pretty deceptive all around.

Bilsky also took far too long to fire Miller. I agree that it's difficult to criticize the hire, but any id1ot could see by the end of season 3 that the wheels had come off. And a good, wise AD who wasn't an egomaniac probably would have seen it at the end of season 2.

Wow. I hope Miller is prepared to never coach again at the collegiate level. No one is going to hire him after these allegations. #DontSnitch

Well, Jim Calhoun clearly supports Miller:
http://www.courant.com/sports/basketball/hc- glen-m...
And if Calhoun supports Miller and had essentially cut ties with UConn, it is strong evidence that Ollie was running a dirty program and that Miller was not implicated in the wrongdoing.
And apparently, Miller was testifying under some compulsion, not to rat out Ollie:
