Congrats to the young man!

Should we be excited about him? Can't really tell based on the article...

I'll never spell his name right, but it was pronounced noo-ah-LEE-ya-TEE-ya.

For years I thought he was Finnish. Tells you what I know.

And, yeah, he was tough.

No, Alai's father was from Fiji. Luke Ruscoe was a all-Ivy Kiwi.

I stand corrected. All those Miller-era Brown players kinda blend together in my brain.

They won a lot of games under Capt. Mike Martin.

Letoa is mentioned in The Sporting News article on 21 players who are staring in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

#21 - Isaac Letoa (New Zealand)
Stats: 3.0ppg, 4.0apg in 11.3mpg
The point guard featured at last year's FIBA Asia Cup for the Tall Blacks and after a year of Ivy League basketball with Dartmouth, he returned to the national team to face Hong Kong in Rotorua. Silky smooth with his dribbling and passing, Letoa figures to be in the setup for a long, long time.

He is featured among some really notable players. Combined with Taurus Samuels we have some good international experience going into Belfast.
