The women's track & field team completed the "triple crown" today, winning the outdoor championship handily to go with their indoor and cross-country wins. Boston made a late run, but the Bison put the meet away with 18 points in the 5000 (2nd, 4th, 5th, & 8th) all from people who had run at least one race already during the meet.

congrats to the team on a great meet and year. if you look at the record book, the number of top 10 performances and all time records this year is incredible. and the total team performance of bringing it when it mattered most at all three championships is reallly something to be proud of.
i thought BostonU would win the 4x400 (wrong), so seeing all the orange runners coming through in the 5000 to clinch the meet was exciting.

Scholarships have certainly helped with the quality of recruits. Boston U's presence has also forced everybody to up their game to try to compete. But you still have to work and execute when it counts. Our team has done a tremendous job of that all year.
