6-8 F Colby Kyle (2*) from Monroe WA has committed to Princeton. He also had offers from Columbia and Dartmouth.

Yep - that's what I would have expected.

MR James: who else, if anyone, do you expect to join this Princeton group?

Don't know... wouldn't be surprised if they're done. Don't think they have any more gaps they have to fill, and there isn't really much left on the board. Last piece was to get a 4. They had Mason Forbes on their radar and Colby, when Mason went to Harvard, it seemed pretty clear Colby would be heading to Princeton.

Looks like the 2018 classes will line up:
1) Harvard
2) Princeton
(gap)
3) Yale

From there, fourth could really end up being any team, but Brown, Dartmouth and Columbia are the most likely with Brown being the clubhouse leader.

Where are you Saddiq Bey? Did you watch the h-P football game on TV last night? Wouldn't you just love to be clad in Orange and black?

Just to get out another (admittedly less informed) view, I think Princeton has the best class right now (and for the 2nd year in a row).

I also think Columbia and Dartmouth have better individual players than Brown, though Brown has more recruits. I think I'd put Columbia ahead of Brown for 4th.

And finally, addressing what Mike did not -- I think my Quakers are really taking it to Cornell for 7th place in the rankings. Not sure if Penn brings anyone else in, but Wang seems comparable to Ellis and so just another body could move Penn into the conversation for 4th best class.

The class coming in this year is deep -- to give another perspective on that one (that I know differs from Mike's), I'd rank the freshmen classes:

Princeton
Yale
Penn
Harvard
Columbia
Brown
Dartmouth
Cornell

It'd be awesome if Saddiq Bey ended up in the Ivy League. Don't see that happening...

As expected, Saddiq Bey will not be coming to the Ivy League. He has committed to NC State.

I would imagine MH and staff are done with recruiting for the 2018 class with 3 seemingly solid gets and the great get in Llewellyn. Still a little guard/wing heavy, but perhaps MH believes in Gladson and Arirguzoh enough to not need to get a center in 2018.
