Two Bison nominees in the first round of PL voting for play of the year:
1. Cora Climo's dramatic OT goal to win the PL title in women's soccer.
2. Brett Smith's 3-run home run to tie the score in the bottom of the 9th in the championship series vs HC in baseball.
Voting for both of them, plus replays of the plays, can be found here:

OR here: https://twitter.com/PatriotLeagueTV
Voting ends later tonight. AT the moment, Smith has a big lead in his first round matchup, but Climo needs some help. Her goal has to be one of the top plays of the year in terms of significance and the situation.

I was wrong about the deadline. It is actually midnight tonight. Climo is currently six votes behind - having made up a lot of ground. So vote - multiple times if you can figure out how to get around the system that tracks which computers have voted.

Climo and Brett Smith both prevailed in the first round of this voting. Climo now takes on Tim Kempton in the second round. It's a question of which is a bigger play: a golden goal that won the league soccer championship in OT or a meaningless dunk by a player who never won a championship.

I might finally have to sign up for Twitter. I can't imagine who you voted for 137.

And it should be Cora Climo & Jackie Ham. Without Ham's spectacular feed, that goal doesn't happen.

Cliomo's championship-winning goal ended up beating Kempton, and she has now advanced to the Finals for PL play of the year. Her competition is a Colgate athlete who has had strong support. Will be tough for her to prevail in this one. Vote here:

Condie's game winner in the PL semi deserved to be in the final. A shame the Navy folks couldn't muster more votes.

With less than 36 hours left in the voting, Climo has a slight lead. If you didn't already vote, now is the time. And ask a few friends to also do so.

Climo lost by the narrowest of margins. Vote tally rounded to 50% each. Strangely, the twitter poll has a check mark next to Climo's name as if she had more votes.

The twitter poll has a check mark next to whomever you voted for. At least that proves you voted for the right candidate.
