why the fudge do we want Mike's numbers if this is a hope springs eternal thread? for crying out loud.
no offense Mike. you and your numbers are both great in most threads. but i'm looking for eternal hope right now. there's no need to be grounded in statistical objectivity, it hampers the process tbh.
Mike's numbers are good for when we come back to this thread in March and say, "Damn, we won the Ivy League regular season and tourney... What were the odds of that before the season started??"
point taken.
what we really need:
Brodeur develops a move to the left and an ability to pass out of the block.
Max develops an outside shot and ability to guard the other team's 4.
Betley doesn't miss half the season.
Woods is as good as P38 says he is.
Hamilton channels his inner Howard.
MacDonald channels his inner Belcore.
Foreman channels his inner Racine.
Goodman channels his inner Arnolie.
Jackson channels his inner Foote.
Donahue channels his inner Donovan.
The 'shmen live up to everyone's hopes and dreams.

Harvard would make that happen

I'd rather he channeled his inner Begley. Belcore couldn't score.
Foreman channels his inner Racine.
Does this mean you want him to sue the Trump administration?

i chose the wrong word. Max is useful, he just is not currently a difference maker. I would love to see him contribute 15 minutes per game as a difference maker.
