It is now close to 11 weeks since it was announced that Hardt is leaving. Even with the holidays intervening, I had expected a decision by now. I'd guess it should be soon, but I have no inside info whatsoever.
My school had our AD retire at Christmas and we decided we would get a better candidate if we waited until the start of the next school year and just covered the duties in house until then. Maybe this is something similar.

I have not heard that they've even started a search. I suspect atlantabison is correct that Pavlechko will serve as interim AD through the end of the school year, if not longer. Lafayette just hired a new AD BTW.
