Per Jeff Goodman, Princeton was scheduled to play a scrimmage today vs Manhattan. (They get NJIT a week from today). Anyone hear how today's scrimmage went?

It's "Colby Kyle" and he committed a little bit ago - there is mention in your recruiting thread.

@mrjames, any chance you can elaborate on this a little? From tweets from others I see that Princeton won by 26, and Carino says they looked extremely good. Any idea on starters/how the freshmen factored in?

Yeah, all I've been hearing are different verbs to describe the pounding they gave the Jaspers. No specifics. That's the way Princeton likes it.

It would be great if they could win their opener at Butler. At least the team has experience scoring victories in other people's historic gyms.

Interesting. Assuming both teams were at full strength and this was a standard 40 minute game, it would seem to be a strong sign for the Tigers. Manhattan is predicted 2nd in the MAAC, a nudge ahead of Monmouth who they'll see in December.

Interesting video with Coach, Stephens, Bell and Cannady on Media Day. Coach expressed considedrable optimism but gave plenty of coach talk. He did talk about the benefit of having Myles Stephens as a shut down defender as well as Myles versatility to play down in the post as well as all over the court. Cannady talked about the importance of him playing better defense. All three are co-captains.
Coach did comment that he believes that the freshmen class is his best frosh class. Also mentioned that Arirguzoh is recovering from an injury.
Henderson is loosening up a little bit as maybe, he is gaining additional confidence as a coach with more experience. He did say that he was a dope in having Stephens sitting on the bench at the beginning of last year.
