Has anyone heard anything about how to get it through a Roku or smart TV? Is there an app for the new streaming service?

No! Stadium is basically a step back to the Stone Age and there is no excuse for it. They are still promising a Roku app but it has not happened yet. Also the inability to view same day archives means if you miss the game live you cannot see it until the next day.

Yes, definitely a step back, For those wondering why the PL moved to this platform, the answer it that they had few choices. The two networks the PL worked with last year - Campus Insiders and American Sports Network - merged to create Stadium. Not a great network but greater than nothing.

There is a way to stream on a large screen tv if you have a smart tv with internet access. In that case access the game on your tv just the way you would on a computer.
The Roku app is coming, but I have far less confidence that Stadium has any intention of providing same day archiving. So if you go out to dinner on a Saturday night with the wife and get home after the game ends, you won’t be able to see it until Sunday. As to when the next day the game actually becomes available I do not know. For example is it available at midnight or not until later in the day? Stadium sucks!

Last I heard, Stadium was hoping to have the Roku app ready by Thanksgiving, but it sounded rather uncertain.
Until then, you can watch it on the big screen if you have a device that has an internet browser, such as an Xbox One, Playstation, Wii, etc. As noted above, you open the browser and navigate the web as if you were using a computer.
There's a Stadium app if you use Apple TV.
The Stadium website says you can watch on PlutoTV, which is an app you can put on Roku. I tried that, but the PlutoTV channel wouldn't work for me (perhaps because my Roku is fairly old?)
In other broadcast news, we can once again listen to the Bucknell radio broadcast over Eagle 107's internet stream, rather than having to use a Bucknell app.

I think they are archiving events more quickly, some the same day, but not immediately. I was able to get the PL women's soccer final the same evening for an afternoon game. For a night game I suspect it still won't be archived until the next day.

The problem with Pluto is that the Stadium broadcast on the Pluto channel (207) isn’tl likely to be the PLN, let alone the Bucknell game. BRW I think you are getting your info from the same source I am, and thus you are probably aware that he is not real thrilled with Stadium either.
Btw, you looked great in your cameo appearances on BTN Sat night.

FWIW...The STADIUM channel #207 on Pluto, broadcasted the Bucknell-Fordham Football game last Staurday.

The camera must have had a fuzzy filter.

I have found that when I watch on my iPhone I lose the feed far more often than I should, and have to keep restarting.
As far as access just follow the link on the Bucknell pregame story and once you are at Stadium click on “Live†and find the Sienna game on the list of events. So far fwiw I have had no problems withStadium on my computer.

The app is out there in the Play Store. The video that was streaming this afternoon was good quality, but there is no built in Chromecast support right now for getting it to a TV without casting your whole device.

Right now my stone knives and rocks are working great and showing me an empty crowd. My God. I remember growing up in Central PA and this is why I left.
