I'm guessing the line will be close, with Penn as a slight dog.
On paper Towson seems to be better competition than Northern Illinois. It's hard to tell because their 3 wins came against bad teams but they did lose a close one against Old Dominion, a good team. I think we win.

Towson appears to be a decent mid-major team and a good challenge for the Quakers. I can see Penn pulling off a close win, provided that they are more of the team that beat Navy and NIU (and should have beaten LaSalle) than the one that laid the egg against Fairfield.
I'm looking at a Penn-Georgia Southern tourney final.

I don't love the fact that they wasted so many 3-point bullets last night...unless of course they just like this arena. This would be a nice win to get.

Towson is a physical team that doesn’t seem to shoot that well. Have to put our hard hats on and grind this one.

The guys know how to punish lax defending, that's for sure.
Towson looks to be a better defensive team. They aren't tall inside though so may be susceptible to the Brodeur/Rothschild combo.

Watched the first half of Towson - FAU, which was some really bad hoops. Towson is definitely more athletic than NIU. They pick up full court on most defensive possessions and try to force pace. Both teams played a lot of hero ball and took a lot of bad shots - looked more like an AAU summer game than organized basketball.
I think the biggest concern might be getting trapped into a fast-paced game after Steve D. went with an Iron Six lineup last night.

If you want to get your computer hacked, go the Stu route...although at least he tries to warn you about this.

Another good start. Playing good D and not forcing any poor shots on the other end.

Why is Donahue in the game?
And who ever thought Wood should be a PG? Doesn't look that comfortable handling the ball without pressure.

So far I've had success with using Microsoft Edge and logging in with my Facebook account.
Also, Chip wasn't kidding about Towson and forcing stuff up.

Well, since Brodeur will be on the bench for extended minutes, JD is someone who can provide some offense--if hot.

That's a huge IF. And he's a liability on D. Having Donahue along with Wood and Scott all on the floor is not a good combo. Later in the season maybe but now....

We look awful. Stagnant would be an upgrade. No plan on offense. The half court set is pretty weak. They should work it in to AJ, but to pick up on an old issue of Asia's, the entry passes are not very good.

Seems to me like if Williams is healthy enough in December, he should see plenty of PT. There doesn't seem to be anyone on this team with the combination of his skill set and size.
