We don’t lose by more than 50.

That only a couple of thousand will witness it, and hopefully keep it to themselves.

Upset of the century. Beating Nova is a lox.

It's guilt by association. 99% of the time lox is served it's a milchig meal.

Actually last time we played them at NOVA, we got blown out in the first half, down 37, threatening an NCAA record for fewest points scored in a half, and then won the second half with a rain of 3s from Jackson and actually covered a 30+ spread. Wright played his first unit almost the entire game despite the huge lead.

Last year we played much more credibly at Palestra as a ridiculous 17 pt dog.

It will be interesting playing them at the Field House. Neither team has played a game in that facility and the game conditions will likely not favor Villanova as much as the dark and dreary Pavilion.

That being said, this is a tough matchup.

"Tough?" Really? That's what you're going with? Your optimism is admirable. I can think of some more appropriate words.

What do you want me to say? It's obvious that we are playing a top 10 team in their practice gym.

To quote The Shoveler, "We have a date with Destiny and it looks like she just ordered the lobster."

This is one time where we might want to yada yada over the lobster bisque.

I can't get worked up for this kind of happiness. Sounds like I'll be watching more Sixers than Quakers tonight. Hoping that changes as the games proceed.

So here's a moral victory question. If I could guarantee you right now a one point loss to Nova tonight, would you accept that? Part of me says no way. Too frustrating. Too painful. The other part says heck yes, as this would bode well for the rest of the season.

Dunno. I was a 22 point underdog in FF this past week but managed to win by 8 and clinch a playoff berth.

You have to play the game-never know what can happen.
