Does anyone know the Bison's OOC games for 2018? So far, all I have heard is we are hosting William & Mary on the Sept. 1 opener and traveling to Villanova on Sept. 22. A good start with two CAA games. Would love to know more - any info out there?

Wasn't there something a while back about possibly a game at Army in 2018 or 2019?

IIRC, '137 said Army was 2020 and 2021. Though I thought @Temple and @Penn were on the schedule in 2018. If so, that's one hell of a tough OOC coming up this season.

I too thought we were the season opener for Temple in 2018, but this indicates that game is the opener for 2019:

Originally, we were going to be the first game in Temple's planned, new on-campus facility...a project that stalled in deep controversy.

No info.. We know there are three missing games - but the interesting thing is that there seem to be four likely ones:
I
1. Sacred Heart - last year was the first in what is likely a two-game series.
2. Marist - series has been played consecutively for more than a decade, and last year was an odd year - implying BU owes a game at Marist in 2018
3 Cornell - The series has run for almost 20'consecutive years. This past year was an even year, implying the series could be broken off - but it has become such a traditional game that I doubt it. Also one of the renaining unknown games needs to be a home game and Cornell fits the bill - unlike Monmouth, Sacred Heart, or Marist.
4. Monmouth - Last year was Game 1 of the series, implying a return game is due. But perhaps it was some special arrangement, giving Monmouth a game on a date where another game fell through. Or part of some three-way deal involving Charleston Southern, who Bucknell visited but never got a home game. (Fwiw, Monmouth and Charleston Southern are fellow members of the Big South)
If I had to bet, I would bet on Cornell, Marist, and Sacred Heart. But that is purely a guess.

Well, one question answered. Monmouth announced its schedule today and they will host the Bison on October 13th, the week after their bye.
This is shaping up as one of the tougher schedules the Bison have played.

Does that mean only one home OOC game next year?

Another addition to the schedule: At Penn on September 15th. This means they won't be giving a return game to either Sacred Heart or Marist in 2018.
This schedule will be a real test. Appears likely there will be only one home OOC game.

While it is definite that the Bison will not be playing Marist in 2018, I have still heard that a game against Sacred Heart still may be on the table (SH has yet to announce their schedule for 2018). Unfortunately, if it is, it would be at Sacred Heart. That would make a difficult schedule even tougher, as we would only have 4 home games for the season - 3 PL contests and William & Mary. The away schedule would be 3 PL games, Penn, Villanova, Monmouth, and Sacred Heart. Let's hope the 11th game is not Sacred Heart, but a home game to help balance the schedule. I doubt SH would play in Lewisburg two years in a row. Regardless of who game #11 is against, the 2018 schedule is going to be a rough one.

Official schedule was just announced, Not only is the report about a game with Sacred Heart correct, but it is at Lewisburg - two consecutive home games with them.
The complete schedule, a strong one, looks like this:
Sept. 1: William & Mary
Sept. 8: Sacred Heart
Sept. 15: at Penn
Sept. 22: at Villanova
Sept. 29: at Holy Cross*
Oct. 6: Colgate*
Oct. 13: at Monmouth
Oct. 20: Lafayette* (Homecoming)
Nov. 3: at Lehigh*
Nov. 10: at Georgetown*
Nov. 17: Fordham*

When do we get a great team? This could easily be an 8 loss schedule.
