Finally some free throws! Uncharacteristically sloppy possession by Tigers there.

Hard fought win. A nice step in the right direction for the program.
And is this a break from Colin's Foreman rule?

Most unfortunate thing is that so few students apart from the band saw this because of the schedule.

Blame Princeton's idiotic schedule for that. Always a pain to have to accommodate their schedule at the expense of Penn's.

I'll post much more later but I just have to thank Max. That was a MAN GAME and he was not walking off that floor with a loss. What a pleasure. Great win. Great.

A great win for the Quakers. SD with a short bench, though he played 9 players the 5 starters all played 30+ with Betley playing 40. Mitch did similar with his starters.
I though AJ and Max were huge in the second half. They had 2 pts and 8 rebs between them at half and they finish with 22 and 14.
Donahue's plan of putting Max on Stephens is very counterintuitive but worked exceptionally well. AJ's bucket over Much to give us a 4 pt lead was the bucket of the game to me.
Some great adjustments by both coaches at half. Mitch started screening for Stephens around the basket and he was able to get free a few times. And SD started posting up in the lane with an entry pass from the top vs on the block with entry from the wing. That makes a double team much harder.
Great win.

I was counting, and I don't think he took 10.

4 for 10. Although, significantly, both he and Woods were 3 for 6 when not shooting threes.

Congratulations to the Quakers. Well played, hard fought between two evenly matched teams. Will likely play 3 times this year. Next game is at our place.

I just read the posts on both P Boards and no one bitched about the Refs. What's up with that?
