The "Notemeal from Princeton" section of game notes failed to mention that this was the first time all season that Penn won when Darnell had 10 or more field goal attempts.

Predictions for tonight's game:

1) Darnell again attempts more than 10 FGs.
2) A.J. gets a double-double.
3) Sam hits 4+ from beyond the arc.
4) Jarrod plays 15+ minutes and picks up 3 or fewer personal fouls.
5) Penn covers the spread.

If 4 and 5 happen, it won’t be in the same game as 1,2,3.

Toledo shot 61% from 3. If Cornell does that, we lose

If Cornell does that, there should be an investigation. Cornell hasn't 50% of their 3s in any game this season and last hit 60% back in December 2010.

Cornell's wins over Toledo and Duquesne tell me they have a chance, but the Big Red will need to win a shootout, or the Quakers will need to have a brutal night from the floor.

If 1-5 all happen, I'm selling my shares in the Abner's Corporation.

Do you know when the last time Toledo shot 61% was?

The lines for the Uber may be steeper than the line for the game.

Which reminds me—there were actually one or two scalpers once rounding DRL from the north prior to the Delaware State blowout.

Sad.

Are the scalpers still the way to go for a cheap ticket? Not that it matters to me anymore. Just curious.

Both Morgan and Getting are very, very good. Morgan is prob one of the best offensive players we will see all year. Cornell doesn't have much depth is their problem, but if they shoot the 3 well and we don't, we can absolutely lose this.

This weekends games are 100% trap games after the win last weekend. Hope the team is ready as both will be very tough games against teams led by 1st Team All Ivy contenders.

P38, stop trying to jinx us with your comments.

How am I jinxing this? I just said I feel good about this game and am more worried about Smith than Morgan. We absolutely can lose this game if we don't play defense and don't make them work.

Cornell is a scary enough team that there's no reason to think beyond tonight's opponent.

Morgan is a lethal scorer. He can't be stopped, just contained. He can just go off and score 30 or 40.

Then add Gettings to that.

I think we start off with Foreman on Morgan. I think Foreman has been a bit better than Woods at slowing down outside shooters, Woods at drivers. But if Foreman doesn't work then Woods. Ultimately we may need to put Betley on him, with Goodman another option.

I sense a Sam Jones game.

How about that 20-1 number Smith to Foreman last year at Levien? Morgan really has never beaten us like that, although he has scored 28 and 26 against us in losses. We have beaten Cornell 9 straight times--even when guys like Henry Brooks and DNH were running in slow motion up and down the court. Columbia has been much tougher on us.

This is asking the basketball gods to smite us with like a 40 point game from Morgan and our first loss to Cornell in a long time.

Women up 22-8 after 1. Penn shooting 3's very well. Cornell very bad moving the ball. Palestra very hot. Large fans on all four sides of the court, which of course aren't doing a thing.

I was wondering if it was going to bad bad in there tonight. Sigh. Now this would be a game that the troll from Princeton would complain about "skating" on the floor.

Now 38-18. Cornell has had one good-looking offensive set all night, and even that was only after Penn had knocked it OB. Shudder to think how many turnovers Red must have by now. Hope Princeton gets a good game from Columbia tonight, 'cause they might put up 100 on these ladies. PS, 13 turnovers for Cornell.

Come on...I said that early in the week when discussing the upcoming weekend games.

The basketball gods understand that.
