Nobody wants to hit the 'panic' button...but, I doubt that anyone thinks that the last two games don't tell us quite a bit about this season and the Penn b-ball program. It's one thing to lose to quality opponents, it's another to not make any part of either game remotely competitive! It's one thing to shoot badly for a couple of games, it's another to play no defense. It's one thing to have a weak spot at PG, it's another to have a PG that can't shoot, can't defend and never gets any assists! If Harvard can hang with ND, what's the deal with two totally humiliating performances in a row? If Dartmouth had played these two teams it's hard to imagine a worse result...that's pretty scary.

I don't know what the deal with Ibby is...hopefully, he can turn it around. I do feel that Oz just doesn't have it. People have made excuses for a while, he's rusty, he's hurt...truth is he couldn't shoot when he was at Utah and he hasn't shown he can shoot since he got here. Whether it's his knee or whatever, he hasn't shown he can defend and he hasn't shown he can create opportunities as a PG.

Here's a question: the team is getting killed because they don't have players on the court who can hit the 3. Yet, Heil hasn't gotten off the bench at any point when it would count. Why? Last year the one thing he seemed capable of was shooting the 3.

Here's another question: when was the last really good recruiting class that Dunphy had? Six years ago?

C'mon Chuck... I know the last two games were hideous, but can we please wait until after the Bucknell game to start the coach roast? I think the frenetic schedule, combined the with the team's inexperience and lack of anything close to a set lineup is contributing heavily to the current situation. Let's give Fran & Co. a chance to stabilize things a bit. After Drexel, they get some time off to regroup. There is a lot of talent on this team (ask Quinnipiac), and we knew going in it was not going to quite fit properly out of the gate. If they lose the next two, I will rethink things.
