Big block by Simmons, but Penn twice can’t control loose balls on the floor and Temple has chance for last shot of half.

Instead Penn gets last chance in transition. Betley missed on good look on a long three, but thought he had time to take at least one more step closer before pulling up.
Silpe has a very nice half in extended minutes.

Love to see Jake getting much deserved time. He is having a major effect on this game. He earned more minutes.

Dead silence.
Eventually recorded Dunphy monologue starts.

Silpe with a great half. Couple steals and assists. Big impact on the game so far. Kudos.
Kuba was in because he can score and is a mobile version of Sam Jones. I expect to see more of him.

Well, that was a real battle of a half.
If you told me the guys would shoot 30% overall and 27% from 3 and would be winning by 1 at the half, I wouldn't have believed you.
Love the fight team is putting up, but we are going to need to find a way to score (ideally get AJ going and find more mins for Wood) to stay in this and get a chance to win.
Loved the mins for Silpe and also think Simmons started to settle down (had great block).

Pretty classic Big Five defensive struggle, although both offenses also had a fair share of shots in close that they couldn’t put down. Whichever one gets the lid off the basket when they’re in the paint probably wins.

No close on Enechionya off high screen gives him clean 3, and Foreman makes a bad entry pass to A.J. for a turnover. Bad start.

Can't win when you can't make a 5 footer. They must have 7 misses by now.

That Betley drive and miss followed by Rose drive and finish not a good exchange when it comes to my points in paint comment.
Enechionya with another 3. Really need a hoop here.

Max gets an o-board but all it produces is another in-close miss.

Seem tentative around the basket right now. Lot of shots either too hard off the rim or not hard enough.

Foreman has no idea where he’s going, throws ball off bottom of rim.
Joe Tordy just said Penn has 2 FGs since 7:25 mark of first half. Ugly stuff.

Kuba missed, A.J. rebound, Betley missed three.
Ugly gets uglier. Now 0-9 FGs over first 5:00.

First sign of aggressiveness in forever from A.J. and he draws a foul. And makes both FTs!

Moore getting that offrensive rebound on floor with three Penn players standing around him sums up Penn energy level in half.
