That's a very useful stat to look at. All the way back to the UMKC game, Penn has held every opponent but Toledo to one of its 10 worst offensive performances of the season. Five of the 13 were top 5 worst with a few more at No. 6.

I think this has to do with offensive strategy--not in trying to get back on defense but in getting a high percentage shot with everyone in the offense. Problem is that Penn misses too many gimmees at the basket, and then numbers will favor the other team in transition.

The guards and wings have high rebounding rates on the defensive end and low on the offensive end - so it could be that they are releasing back on defense and leaving the offensive rebounding to the bigs. It's not something I've been paying attention to. I'm planning to be at the Yale game so it's something I'll look for.

I'm not sure what to make of tonight's game. Anderson seems like a volume scorer on the surface but you can't foul him because he doesn't miss FTs. I'll guess Woods will guard him. I'd think Betley will draw Cambridge.

I’ll guess Foreman on Anderson. Agreed Betley on Cambridge, with the caveat that we may play quite a bit of 4 guard if that turns out to be a problem (enabling Woods to guard Cambridge).

Anderson scores a lot at the rim. Woods is better at preventing that than Foreman, who can be over matched at times against that sort of player.

If Cambridge is going to keep making contested turnaround Js from 15-19 feet, it’s going to be a long night.

Brown being very aggressive on D, overplaying the passing lanes and doubling quickly on the bigs, and Penn has not responded well to the pressure. And once again, multiple blown opportunities at the rim.

On defense, too many one-on-one breakdowns and second chance points allowed.

Max’s main contribution on offense so far has been turnovers. There’s another one.

That’s two awful turnovers via lazy passes to a man at the top of the key. 33-28 Brown after Hunsicker layup.

Now A.J. lane violation negates a Woods FT.

Max almost commits another turnover, but Woods recovers loose ball and Max ultimately makes a nice backdoor bounce pass to set up Betley layup. Good job by Ryan hesitating to let the defender attempting the block from behind fly by.

Silpe gets faced on a backdoor attempt (as Vince points out, because he fails to go up with left hand on drive from left, instead bringing ball to the D with his right hand), and it turns into an easy transition layup for Anderson.

Now yet another Max TO and Foreman fouls Anderson. 1-2 FTs makes it 41-33 Brown.

We’re in trouble.

Two straight 2-2 FT trips by A.J. and Antonio pull Quakers within 4.

Now two Max FTs cut it to 41-39.

Who said Tony can't hit the 3? Penn lucky they're not down by 10+.

Yikes. Matador D allows Okolie to get to the rim for a layup at end of Brown shot clock, but with 4.5 seconds left Penn manages to get the ball into the front court for Woods to nail a well beyond NBA range 3 at the buzzer. Down 1 at the break, nice comeback when they looked to be in serious trouble.

The defense and rebounding really needs to step up if they want to win this.

Penn will win... Darnell has only taken one shot, so the streak will continue...

Besides, watching the game, it is clear to see who is the better team...

Princeton carries a 3-point lead into the final 30 seconds, Yale misses two 3s that could have sent it to a second OT.

Bell misses front end of one-and-one after foul on rebound and Yale fouled on his rebound, but turns the ball over. Princeton 76-73 FINAL..
