What a game. Brown played so well and refused to fold, I can't feel too bad losing this one. They beat us at our best. Cambridge was simply unreal and unstoppable. Good luck for the rest of the season, Brownies. I hope you get Penn in the rematch.

Thanks Tiger69. I have been watching Brown hoops for over 55 years and never saw or listened to a game like that. Phil Brown blocked shots like Cambridge did in the last five seconds. But to also play unconscious offensively as well is just something very special. It was one of the very best all-around efforts in Brown history. I'd listen on the radio to great Providence College wins against Villanova or St. Joe's I the '60's. But for the Bears to win one like this at Jadwin is surreal. When was the last time Brown scored over 90 in back-to-back weekend games? Martin is bringing this group around wonderfully as the season progresses. Their confidence will climb after a weekend like this.
With their lack of size, every game will be a challenge for Brown. But it looks like they will have a decent shot every night. You can't ask for more than that for a your team and a program on the rise.

I haven't seen Brown too much this year, although the games that I did see (Providence and Princeton)...just wow. Somehow they've lost 3 Ivy games this year, but I don't see them losing a ton more by year's end.

The Bears are legit. Very impressive win at Jadwin. Only the refs can stop them now.

Anderson and Cambridge were awesome offensively, and a bunch of other guys scored well too.
Brown's defense was better than Princeton's, but not that great. A slightly less unconscious shooting performance by them with the same level of defense could result in close losses. But wow, they have plenty of scoring punch,

I kept my eyes on Cambridge, not the ball, when Brown had the ball (after his hot start).
Bell guarded him most of the game and was all over him like a cheap suit, as they say. Stephens did a good job as well. Late in game Cannady had him for a while, but could not keep up. Cambridge would have had a "poster" dunk on him, but missed it, fortunately. He is just very very good, and there are enough good shooters around him to make it very difficult to double him.
Brown did a good job of finding the open man, and Anderson is great with the ball when he is isolated and no help is available. He has a fantastic mid range jumper and finishes at the rim.

Interesting. Brown did shoot 12 more FT's than P including an 18-9 advantage in the 2nd half. Funny how good the refs can be eh?

Signature win. Anderson awesome. Cambridge incredible. No defense anywhere. My kind of game. 3rd win at Princeton in our history. Has Brown ever scored more in a weekend?

Brown has drawn way more fouls than Princeton (or any other Ivy team) all season. You'd expect them to have an FT advantage in any game.

Not the way they play defense. They clutch and grab and do not have good footwork. But they are amazingly athletic and are an offensive dynamo. Either the reffing was good both nights or bad both night.
But that is consistency either way.

Neither Coach was bitching at the refs much. I take that as a sign.

I dunno....I thought Martin was working the refs pretty good, and I thought Henderson was too laid back. Maybe his ejection has made him simmer down.

I thought Much got robbed on a few occasions where he was hammered with no call, and Stephens just gave up arguing when there was body contact and no call. Brown didn't seem grabby, pace P38, but they throw their bodies around a lot.
