Harvard -2 tonight (1 place has it -3)

Hard to know what to expect tonight. Assuming no Aiken, Harvard will need to win with D. Princeton has enough good 3 point shooters that the usual crapshoot may decide the outcome. Hope our 3 point shooting continues at the recent improved level, particularly at home.

Just hope we can get to the line a bit more, particularly with Princeton’s questionable interior defense. We could use some free points, especially with our anticipated 0 fast break points.

I suspect Mitch will find a way, as he always can, to neutralize what looks like a huge Harvard advantage when Lewis is on the floor.

I don’t love either matchup this weekend for Harvard for different reasons. I don’t know if the great ball movement offense will show up for the Tigers in place of more of the heroball look they’ve been giving recently, but if it does, Princeton could get a TON of good looks once it gets Harvard in rotation. And tomorrow night, Penn’s bigs should have a field day with anyone in the rotation not named Lewis.

Could be a LOOOOONG weekend...

For the past few years Princeton has retreated on defense and not tried for offensive rebounds. This was to avoid Siyani and Bryce lead a transition offense in favor of forcing Harvard into its fitful halfcout offense. Wonder if they’ll deviate from that strategy tonight.

Yes, hoping for a split on the weekend. Princeton seems like a really tough match-up without Bryce.

Can Harvard hang on with Seth and Chris having 4 fouls?

Yes they can ... even with them both having FIVE fouls!
