I can understand that we were fatigued against Lehigh having played 4 games in 8 days. No excuse for this game having had a week off and playing at home. Colgate's playing well but we should win this game. We're the better team and have to play with heart as well as ability!

A win tonight would basically put our magic # at 1 to clinch the regular season. Colgate would have to win out and we would have to lose out for them to catch us. I supposed there could be a crazy scenario where we go 1-3 and Colgate wins out, but Navy or BU also wins out to cause some 3 way tiebreakers that could keep us out...Still, win tonight, and one goal should likely be achieved.
A loss, and we would be at real risk of losing the top seed especially if we lose to Navy next week, as our records against Navy and BU could become the tiebreaker with Colgate (as we will have split with Gate). Gate already swept Navy.

At 18-22 years old, I remember playing hoops 2-3 hours a day (or more) just about every day. I don't buy the fatigue thing.

Yes, that would be disastrous. But in most likely tie scenarios, Colgate would prevail. Other than the loss to Bucknell, their losses are both to Lafayette. The Bison, in the tie scenario, would have a loss to Lehigh and a loss to some unknown future opponent. If LU ends up ahead of Lafayette, then that would give Colgate the tiebreaker no matter who the other theoretical Bison loss was to.

Fatigue at that age is a joke unless you’re a win-in for a major conference tourney and play four games in four days.
This team can get lazy sometimes and frankly I think superior talent and expectation of winning factor in to that. I have no worries that when the time comes they’ll answer the Bell. The bell is ringing tonight too.

Layup drill for Colgate...we look lost and out of sorts all over the court. Of course many here feel it is the fault of the officials.

Funny how the halftime focus is on Brown. Not Thomas or foulland. Brown.

This team likes to see how far behind they can get then they pour it on and win by two or four, or lose like they did at Lehigh. Look for a slow crawl back into the game and then a strong finish. It wouldn't be the first time.

My comment regarding officials wasn’t sarcasm...I get that we’ve seen some poor officiating in the PL, but the people around me at the games always blame officiating when we are not doing well when the real reason is poor play. But that is negativity, sorry.

It’s clear now there’s nothing “special†about this unit from a national perspective. Sadly it’s true based upon the body of work.
We can breakdown why this is the case but it’s clear this incarnation of the Bison is not going to live up to the hype WE created (including myself).
