Coach really gave "coach talk" on Tuesday's radio show. Need to take it one stop at a time. every possession is critically important etc etc. Not sure if I buy it but far more importantly, does the team buy it.
I continue to hope that Arirguzoh and DesRosiers receive more playing time not only for improving this season's performance but giving these guys additional experience for their remaining years -- both have significant upsides.
Hard to believe that Tigers are favorites based on road play but let's see if they have some gumption tonight. As the league is not particularly great this season, I guess that anything can happen in the IvyMadness Tournament.

Time to stop the skid and start feeling better about themselves. At this point, it's not about championships or getting to the tournament, just playing a whole game of good basketball and getting back confidence. One time where the coach-speak may be literally true.

Can’t believe what I am watching. Tigers 22 point lead reduced to 5 in about 5 minutes. 17 straight points for the Big Red (I think). Princeton has no offense and little defense.

This team is just completely rattled. Really hard to watch. Lead now down to 1 with 4 to play. 22-2 point run for Cornell. I’d be stunned if Tigers pull this out.

Why not call time when you have the ball on the floor like that. Gotta think!

I guess not.
Hard to believe this team could lose its collective confidence so completely and quickly.

This is bizarre. espn scoreboard had the final as 76-75 in regulation. Those staff cuts must have been more dramatic than we realized.

It is quite obvious there isn't one. I don't think Amir has that kind of personality, Devin does somewhat but he doesn't create offense, he just scores.
Call me crazy but Jerome Derosiers seems to have the most spirit on this team(not saying it translates to leadership right now but I can foresee him taking on that roll at some point).
Our biggest hope is that our new pg acts like a pg and leads next year.

Happily, I couldn't watch the game. So, while I might sound like a Penn fan in asking, why such a huge discrepancy in FTs? If we made any attempt to play defense, it must have been very ineffective. Conversely, with so few fouls, did Cornell allow us to walk to the basket unimpeded? Very strange. At this point, it is a two team race for the Ivy Crown, and even if we had a shot at the Tournament, I really don't care. We have a lot to sort out before next season.

Finally, this basketball season is looking a lot like our recent football season -- lots of offense, no defense, bad outcome. Better call Courtney for a pep talk.

Up 22 with 10 or so to play and they couldn’t score or stop Cornell to hold on. Tie game with 0.4 seconds left in the game and Bell at the line to win it. Airball. What more is there to say?
Last year was a dream season and this year’s “big three†played brilliantly behind last year’s big two. I sincerely hope that Bell’s memories of his college career will be dominated by last year’s heroics and not this year’s frustrations. And let’s all hope that MH can teach and inspire next year’s team to pass the ball, make hard cuts, take good shots, play defense, and hustle for loose balls. This year’s team has largely failed at those fundamentals.
Go Tigers!
