So now the cryptic comment makes sense. I would imagine that a good number of power conference teams may lose players. That will make for an interesting tournament, and one where clean mid major programs may prosper.

Or since this involves what appears to be a majority of the big money programs, what might happen is that they throw their hands up in the air and start allowing players to be paid.

Or the powers that be can start shooting arrows at the investigators to obstruct justice. More likely they'll be like the big corporations that commit obscene offenses and get minor slaps on the wrists or fines.

If our Chief Executive spent more time supporting our intelligence agencies and less time trying to dismantle or dispute their every move, we'd also have very different news cycles.
