No commentary from the cognoscenti?
Slow the pace, and use Cannady as a decoy to spread the defense, go 4 on 4? Nice, because it allowed Bell to get his 1000th point at home in front of friends & family. But is it the new model?

They looked like a Princeton basketball team for a change. Good ball and player movement, using the option of backdoor or trey to put defenders in conflict, etc.
The second time around the new matchup zone caused fewer missed assignments and they picked up ball-handlers outside the arc, getting a ton of deflections. Some of the slow pace was Dartmouth not being able to get shots off for 20-25 seconds on many possessions. Loved all the blocked and altered shots, too.
Cannady looked surprisingly good zipping passes to the wings and cutting to make space for teammates. His rebounding was great, too. Thrilled to see Bell get his thousandth point on senior night. Stephens had a good offensive game with only a few of those bad dribbles into traffic (he needs better awareness as a passer when help converges) and some fine shotmaking. Much and Desrosiers looked more like their better selves. Aririguzoh was again good defensively but a bit less effective scoring than against Harvard--some missed finishes.
